Our Turn
I knew our winter was just too easy so far. Okay, we had that crappy bit of freezing rain a few weeks ago but other than that, we had escaped pretty much unscathed until yesterday and today. We just don't seem to see storms like this anymore. Once every 5 years maybe. This was a good one!
As I type this, our street still hasn't seen a snow plow. I spent 2 hours snow blowing last night and another 2 this morning. Our street is impassable unless you have a truck or 4WD SUV.
Aunt Joyce up in Barrie sent some pics the other day of their snow so I figured I would post a few photos of ours. Not as impressive, but fun to play in.

Margaret said Archie jumped into the snow this morning and dissappeared. Luckily he popped back up and bunny-hopped his way around.

How cool, you have a snow blower!
Isn't it fun?! The drive to work was interesting, some of the drifts on the road were like snowbanks! Alas, my sister is up in Barrie, and she mentioned not wanting to see another shovel for a long, long while!
I probably ended up doing more shovelling then blowing. I can shovel it with the best of them...just ask Margaret.
Barrie can have all the snow they want. I've seen enough of the white stuff today.
Happy Valentine's Day!

I know this mommy wants a snow blower for her birthday---hint hint guys :) if everyone picthed in .....
At least your dog left the back step! When snow hits like that, Len goes into "camel" mode and backs off the food & water until some yard has been shovelled.
Also on the Barrie note, my parents have shovelled parts of their yard so as not to lose Meg this week!!
Do they make snow-shoes for dogs?
I should invent them.
hmmmm....
