Visiting Friends

Andy and I are so lucky to have so many good friends around us. We may not get to see everyone as often as we'd like, but when we do get together, it's always a good time.

Last week, we were lucky enough to visit with one of my old friends from Dunnville, Noreen.

We go way back! Together with Audrey and Shelly, we have several stories of adventures and just silly girl's stuff that we love to reminisce over. We have all known each other since grade one.

Well, today, Noreen is happily married to her charming husband Steve and has two delightful children, Curtis and Parker.

(Notice how the camera man conveniently kept himself out of the pictures).

We had a fabulous visit catching up on what's happening in each other's lives. Even the kids thoroughly enjoyed getting to know one another and playing together.

Evan was just fascinated watching the two older kids move about him. He doesn't normally see that much activity at home, considering that both Andy and I couldn't muster up enough energy between us, to move that much. I guess it won't be long before Evan starts to move like that too!

Despite the fact that we don't get to see each other that often, I am quite pleased that when we do get together, it seems as though time is standing still.

It's a funny phenomenon, but I expereince the same thing when we visit Audrey and Shelly.

It must be a sign of good friendship!

Thank you Noreen and family for a yummy dinner, thoughtful gift for Evan, and a relaxing visit. We look forward to returning the favour.

Margaret, Andy and Evan
